M001 Modular Table

Modular 001 draws inspiration from traditional Japanese chabudai and horigotatsu forms reimagined as a low-set table and seating arrangement to encourage conversation.
We’re currently living in a world that encourages people to be afraid of one another. We want to celebrate our differences but also strengthen the string that binds us all together. With Modular 001, we dreamed of an informal setting where people could connect, converse and create. I really wanted the piece to be a sensory experience so the optional mood-light and music component was vital to creating a world within a world. The piece brings together form, community and music.

Are U Mad x The North Face
Flatpack Workbench

Consultation, design development, and fabrication.
Private commission for Are You Mad and The North Face. Using plastic waste produced within TNF’s company, we designed and built a workbench made entirely from plastic (apart from the hardware). Our goal was to design a hard wearing, heavy duty workbench with multiple working areas at different heights too accomodate for everyone attending the workshops. The bench also had to flat pack and utilise the under space for simple storage of plastic waste during workshops.

IDEA at Dover Street Market

Working with the lovely David from IDEA Publishers, we designed and built this 360 degree walk around store.
The structure is freestanding, built from white laminated birch plywood, features a clothing rail, glass vitrine, underside box storage for merchandise and books, with an overspill for stock. The beauty of this is that it flat packs, so it could pack down and be shipped worldwide.
